Payment

Boardersplace accepts most major credit cards and up to eight (8) payment options through Stratapay including visa, mastercard, bankcard, diners, amex, and direct debit. StrataPay provides you with the latest in security and technology. Stratapay's secure Payment Gateway is 128 bit encrypted and offers full security and traceability on all transactions. All funds are processed through the StrataPay Trust Fund Account, held by the Heritage Building Society. Your credit card details are only used to process the order for which you are completing. Boardersplace does not keep any credit card details.

Registration

To create an order, as a new user you will be asked to either provide full contact details including delivery address for postage. If you are a returning user you may simply login and proceed to shop. Please see Privacy Policy and collection of personal details.

Confirmation of Order:

Prior to checkout, you will have the ability to review your order on the screen including visual sample, exact dimensions, configuration, number of items & price etc. The artwork 'attributes' including a sample image of the picture will then be transferred to your invoice. This will be coupled with Product Name, Product Code, Colour, Size, Configuration, Number, Description, Price & Tax. You will receive an email confirmation of your order. Please check the details are correct and if you do notice any discrepancies, contact Boardersplace immediately (within 12 hours). You will also receive a hard copy of the tax invoice with your order. Please check these details match the artwork when taking delivery of the product. Please see Cancellations and Returns/Exchanges.

Currency:

All transactions are listed on the site in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST. For alternative currency please choose the currency converter link displayed next to each item price in Step Two (2).

Delivery:

Australian delivery is by DHL or Australia Post. Delivery is within 21 days. Insurance for damage or loss in delivery is included in price. Goods must be inspected, sited in good condition and signed for receipt when delivered. Goods will be delivered to the address specified in the order. International delivery is by DHL. Delivery is within 21 days. Insurance for damage or loss in delivery is included in price. Goods must be inspected, sited in good condition and signed for receipt when delivered. Goods will be delivered to the address specified in the order. Delivery Times:

Please allow a period of up to 21 days for Domestic delivery.

Please allow a period of up to 28 days for International delivery.

Freight:

Postage within Australia and Internationally is included in final checkout price. Freight is based on size of items purchased.

Cancellations:

All cancellations must be submitted by phone or email within 24 hours of the purchase.

Returns/Exchanges:

If the item you ordered varies in anyway from the information stated on your invoice, you may send the package back to us with a copy of your invoice. Firstly, please check all details on the invoice are correct, and if not mark any discrepancies for our attention. A copy of the original invoice with your comments must accompany the returning product. The purchaser must contact Boardersplace for a return authorisation number to return/exchange goods within 48 hours of receipt of delivery. The goods must be sent to us via our preferred delivery provider. Items sent back to us for return/exchange must be visibly marked with the return authorisation number in order for a refund or exchange to be made by Boardersplace.

Items must be returned new and unused and in the original packaging for a full refund or exchange. Returns are only accepted if goods are unused and returned to Boardersplace post marked within 10 days (Australia) of the original delivery date. Boardersplace will not accept goods post marked after 10 days (Australia & International) of the original date.

Damaged Packages:

If you were to receive a damaged package or merchandise that has been damaged in transit, please save all packaging and materials including the box and the damaged items and contact us immediately and we will address the issue straight away. Our pricing includes insurance for damage incurred in transit.

Refunds on Returns Only:

No refunds will be given until the goods are received in unused condition by Boardersplace & the Invoice copy has been checked against the returned product. Refunds are given only on returns.
We will give you a credit or refund:

• If the order gets damaged in the mail system.
• If the order is lost in transit.
• If the order is different from your invoice including image, colour, size, configuration & medium.

Unfortunately we will not give you a credit or refund:

• If your original order is incorrect in any way eg not ordering the right size.
• If the order has a late cancellation.
• If the order has an insufficient mailing address.

There are no restrictions when sending this product overseas.

All images displayed on the site remain the Intellectual Property of the Photographer supplying the images. All images and photographs on Boardersplace are copyright of their respective owners. This means their use, and sale, is strictly controlled. All purchasers of Boardersplace photographs are required to adhere to our copyright rules. The image file or photographs purchased are for private and non-commercial use only. If you have any questions regarding copyright, please contact our copyright department via the contact us form.

The user does have the ability to 'customize' the original photograph to suit exact requirements. This includes the ability to change from colour print to black and white etc, to set size and configuration ie square, panoramic, landscape, portrait or tryp titch. No matter how the photograph is enhanced or manipulated online, the finished product will always feature the photographer's signature and will still be copyrighted to that photographer.

All the rights for the content featured or displayed on this website www.boardersplace.com or other subsequent promotional material are owned by the relevant photographer or their licensers. Unless explicitly permitted by Boardersplace, or relevant copyright owners general users may not copy, reproduce, or otherwise exploit the content or any related rights in anyway - outside of the allowances set on the site. Ownership of a print does not constitute ownership of copyright. No reproduction rights are granted or implied. The photographer retains full copyright.

A photograph/art purchased may be displayed in a public place (including in public areas in a place of business), if the following conditions are adhered to:

1. All credit and copyright ownership of the image is still owned by the photographer.
2. Photograph/Art purchased for commercial use will not be used or associated in any way with pornography, racial inequality, illegal activities, degrading or defaming any person, company, or place.
3. Proper acknowledgement of photographer is displayed either on the piece or adjacent to it.
4. If you would like permission to reproduce any photographs from Boardersplace for commercial purposes, please contact the site administrator via the contact us form.

To Create Artwork From Your Own Images

Firstly, Boardersplace must check images to ensure they are both suitable for print and placement on the site before they will be uploaded. Therefore, all images must be sent in print quality format ie size/dpi requirements for printing purposes. They are to be at least 300 dpi, CMYK for print, jpg and at least 5mb. If you wish to change the image colour style, please only send colour images as the software is designed to convert colour to either black and white or sepia. It will not do the reverse; ie change from black and white or sepia to colour. Please refer delivery instructions.

Print/Photograph Delivery

All photography must be saved onto High Res CD's and sent in a bubble pack or hardback envelope with an accompanying hard copy print of the selected image. Postage must be via registered, security post to ensure safe delivery. The cost of which is the responsibility of the photographer. Address for delivery is: The General Manager, Boardersplace, PO Box 283 Burleigh QLD 4220. Once Boardersplace is in receipt of your images, you will receive an email alert advising that the image is available online under Amateur Photographers. You then have 7 days to create your artwork from the image before it will be removed from the site.

Make Commission from this site

As Boardersplace is a public online gallery, you may find that other users like your photos enough to create artwork from them. If that is the case, you will be invited to become a Boardersplace contributor. You must complete our Terms & Conditions to receive a Member Login Code, which will allow you to submit photos on a regular basis and receive commission for each sale. Boardersplace pays a flat commission to each photographer for each piece of artwork sold from an original photograph on the site.
